Overview
Tanzania - a vast and mystical land with breathtaking scenery ranging from the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro to the plains of Serengeti National Park and one of the world's seven wonders - Ngorongoro Crater. Just off her coast, lies the magical clove Island of Zanzibar with its intriguing blends of historical ruins, white beaches and winding streets of old Stone Town. With a climate as varied as her landscape, Tanzania offers visitors a wealth of experience. This, combined with the warm and friendly welcome of her cosmopolitan people, makes Tanzania an irresistible destination. As custodians of Africa's most spectacular wilderness, the Tanzanians are fiercely protective of their natural heritage and an incredible 25% of her land area is conserved under National Park status. These parks, famous worldwide for their beauty, profusion of wildlife are home to 20% of Africa's large mammal population and are safe havens for rare and threatened species such as Black Rhino, Cheetah and Painted Wolves.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park In the morning you depart from Arusha with picnic lunch boxes and proceed to Tarangire National Park. This park has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord of predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry country antelope such as the stately fringed eared Oryx and peculiar long necked gerenuk are regularly observed. Drive in the park to explore some of the 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and land crowd the shrinking lagoons. Afternoon break for picnic lunch. Then continue with game drive. Leave Tarangire National Park at 16:00hrs and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for dinner and overnight stay at one of the Lodges or Campsites near the Park.

Leave Manyara and proceed to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight stay at one of the Lodges or Campsites.
